3. Categories of Cookies Used

3.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies are used to ensure the proper, secure and stable operation of the Website and/or the Platform, as well as to provide functionality expressly requested by the user.

They may be used, in particular, to:

  • enable the operation of user accounts;
  • store settings necessary for the operation of the Website and/or the Platform;
  • provide other essential functionality.

Such cookies are used without the user’s prior consent where permitted by applicable law. Blocking these cookies through browser settings may result in certain functions of the Website and/or the Platform not operating properly.

3.2. Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies and similar technologies may be used on the Website to obtain information about its use, including pages visited, the duration and nature of interactions, technical characteristics of the user’s device and browser, referral sources and other statistical information.

As of the date of the latest update of this Policy, no third-party analytics services are used on the Platform. Where Applicable Law requires the user’s consent for the use of such technologies, they are activated only after the relevant consent has been obtained.

3.3. Functional Cookies

Functional cookies and similar technologies may be used to remember the user’s choices and preferences, personalise certain elements of the Website and/or the Platform, and provide additional functionality.

Where such cookies are not strictly necessary to provide functionality expressly requested by the user, they are used on the basis of the user’s prior consent where required by applicable law.

3.4. Marketing Cookies

Marketing cookies and similar technologies may be used on the Website to assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, measure conversions, create audiences, personalise advertising messages and interact with advertising and social media platforms.

For these purposes, the Company may use third-party technologies and services where such technologies are actually integrated into the Website.

As of the date of the latest update of this Policy, no third-party marketing services are used on the Platform.

Marketing cookies and similar technologies for which Applicable Law requires consent are not activated until the user has provided the relevant consent.

The user may refuse the use of such technologies or withdraw previously given consent through the cookie management mechanism available on the Website.

4. Third-Party Cookies

The Website and/or the Platform may use third-party services that may set their own cookies and/or use similar technologies and process personal data in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

Depending on the relevant service and the nature of the processing, such third parties may independently determine or participate in determining the categories and scope of data collected, the purposes and means of processing, and the applicable retention periods.

The Company may use third-party technologies and services which, in connection with their use, may receive certain information about the user and the user’s device. The respective roles of the Company and such third parties in relation to the processing of personal data are determined based on the nature of the relevant processing and the requirements of applicable law.

The processing of personal data by such third parties may also be governed by their respective privacy policies and other applicable terms.

Where the use of a relevant third-party service involves the transfer of personal data outside Ukraine, the European Union or the European Economic Area, such transfer shall be carried out in compliance with applicable requirements governing international transfers of personal data, including, where applicable, the requirements of Chapter V of the GDPR.

Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of the relevant third-party services.

5. Legal Basis for the Use of Cookies

5.1. Cookies and similar technologies are used in accordance with the requirements of applicable law, taking into account the category of the relevant technologies, the purposes for which they are used, and the nature of the information being processed.

5.2. Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies may be used without the user’s prior consent where they are necessary to ensure the operation, security, authentication or maintenance of a session, or to provide functionality of the Website and/or the Platform expressly requested by the user, and where such use is permitted by applicable law.

5.3. Analytics, functional, marketing and other non-essential cookies and similar technologies for which consent is required under applicable law are used only after the user has provided prior consent.

5.4. Where information obtained through cookies or similar technologies constitutes personal data, any further processing of such personal data shall be carried out in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the GDPR where applicable.

5.5. Where the processing of personal data is based on the user’s consent, such consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. The user has the right to withdraw consent at any time as easily as it was given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

6. Cookie Management

6.1. When a user first visits the Website, the user may be asked to make a choice regarding the use of optional cookies and similar technologies through the relevant cookie management mechanism (cookie banner / cookie settings). If optional cookies or similar technologies for which user consent is required under Applicable Law are introduced on the Platform in the future, an appropriate mechanism for obtaining and managing consent will also be implemented on the Platform.

6.2. Where the use of cookies requires consent under applicable law, the user must be provided with the ability to:

  • accept non-essential cookies;
  • reject non-essential cookies;
  • select individual categories of non-essential cookies through the available settings.

6.3. Non-essential cookies for which consent is required shall not be activated until such consent has been obtained. The user’s inactivity, continued browsing of the Website or continued use of the Platform shall not, by themselves, constitute consent where applicable law requires affirmative consent.

6.4. The user has the right to modify their choices or withdraw previously provided consent at any time through the available cookie management mechanism. Withdrawing consent shall be as easy as giving consent.

6.5. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the use of cookies or the processing of personal data carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

6.6. The user may also manage cookies through their browser settings, including by deleting stored cookies, blocking their use or restricting their storage.

6.7. Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may limit or adversely affect the operation of certain functions of the Website and/or the Platform.

7.2. The date on which this Policy was last updated is indicated at the beginning of this document.

7.3. An updated version of this Policy shall take effect upon its publication on the Website and/or the Platform, unless otherwise expressly stated in the relevant updated version.
